Organ-ized Sale

Artwork #6 of my exhibition. "Organized Sale" inspired by Keith Haring details the organ selling scene with a humorous twist. drawing of the organ market. The artwork showed a masked man selling organs at discounted prices, much like in supermarkets, adding to the comedic theme of many of my artworks. A slight hint of red is added to create emphasis, variety, and depth to the artwork and its theme, stressing the reality of such a situation. The drawing's simple composition and figure's straightforward gesturing was pulled from Keith Haring's own drawings.
I originally wanted to make an artwork that poked fun at the idea of selling ones organs for material things in the style of Keith Haring, but felt the topic might be hard to communicate.
