Estranged Silhouettes

Illustrations done based on silhouettes made of odd objects added onto the human body. The reference photo inspired the first illustration. I pulled from shapes from the scarf, head piece, and even the brushes. I really liked how I could manipulate the scarf to add movement to the illustration and how the curved lines of the skirt created a layered, bubbled effect to it. The second illustration was inspired by a friend's reference photo, creating a cool pair of rosette-edged pants a fun bobbled cape.
